Need to vent !
I am sick of people asking me when are we trying for number two or making me feel like crap! I bumped into a Mum I used to go to a MG group with up until luke was around 7 months,I left because I didn't feel I fit in as Luke was the only bad sleeper there and they sometimes made me feel the odd one out,so I bumped into this Mum and she had had another baby,of course this one sleeps great aswell ( good for her!! ) but I don't need to be felt like crap ( the way she talked and looked at me) when I said Luke still doesn't sleep through 100% of the time but had improved,she also said well you shouldn't have another one if he is still like,WTF has it got to do with you,for starters I am sick of people like her telling me what to do ( I want to ttc this year but when is OUR decision! ) and making me feel bad that Luke is still not 100% sleeping through,don't you think i would like that????????????? and this woman aint the only one that makes me feel like crap regarding Luke's sleep and asks me when we are trying for another,keep your nose out of it and stop making me feel like a crap mother!! vent over....

Sarah - I will let you into a secret these women that go around saying their lives are perfect and try to make us "normal" ones feel bad - Really arent telling the truth. Believe me I have one in my MG who says her kids always sleep through that night but after 3yrs and getting to really know her its just not the truth. I guess its a bit like EB isnt it - Some women just love to "Talk up" their lives but I really think deep down they are hiding stuff. Your doing a great job - Dont let them get to you. Brodie only started sleeping through just before he turned 3yrs old. Oh and he isnt Toilet trained still at nearly 3 1/2yrs old. EAch kids different.
Sarah, I agree... it's always something maybe her kids are great sleepers but shit eaters, or little feral ratbags... Dont let it get you down.
Sarah honey! YOU know you've been doing everything right when it comes to Luke and his sleep - so don't let anyonme rile you up over it. As Dee and Felicity have said, what these 'supermums' say and what actually happens behind closed doors can be two totally different things. Console yourself with the fact that their 'perfect' kids might turn out to be horror feral 4 year olds instead (insert evil grin here :p)
As for the TTC - the simple answer is 'when we're ready' With 3.5yrs between Ciaran and Lillian, and waiting 7 years before having Ciaran, we got an awful lot of that! {{{{HUGS}}}} darl! mwah!

Sarah - First thing that came to mind was "screw her". LOL!! Sorry!! Honestly what Felicity and the others have said is true. Her kids might sleep well but I doubt they'd be perfect!! If it's any consolation (and doesn't freak you out LOL!!) my 17 month old still wakes at least once a night. My 5 year old DS also comes in to our room almost every night. My only "good" sleeper is DD and she's feral during the day. ROFL!! Take care mate and tell them all to mind their own business!!
It gives me the shits too when people are like that. I even had the guy at the service station tell me that Jack's too old for a dummy and that it's really bad for his speech. I'm sorry that that stupid woman got you so upset. She sucks.:P
Hugs sweetie.....Don't let the stupid woman get you down!..... Each child is different, Ethan still doesn't "sleep though" he comes and gets into bed with us every night!...somewhere bewteen 1am and 5am!! if i'm very luckly it might be 5.30am, but that doesn't happen very offen..lol..
What's important is you love your child and do what is best for your family...please not feel that your have to live up to anyone expectations!! As for number two...when ever you are ready is the right time...
